Tuition & Fees

    • Tuition fees are paid in two installments at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.

    • Payments for the years spent at ITU are made to ITU, while payments for the years spent in the USA are made to the respective institution in the United States.

    • The payment dates for fees to be paid to ITU will be announced at (www.sis.itu.edu.tr).

    • The payments cover tuition fees only. Expenses such as accommodation, stationery, personal expenses, health insurance, and similar costs are not included and must be paid separately.

    • Tuition fees in the USA may be increased annually by a certain rate.
    • ​
    • For the 2025–2026 Academic Year, the annual tuition fee for the English Preparatory Program at ITU is 57,160 TL, and the tuition fee payable per academic year is 75,656 TL.

    • Based on feedback from our students, students studying in the USA may spend approximately USD 15,000–20,000 per academic year in addition to tuition fees.

  • Scholarship Opportunities

  • As of the 2026–2027 academic year, scholarships will be awarded to our students for the periods of study at Montana State University, based on their grade point averages (GPA). These scholarships will be applied to the annual tuition fees of Montana State University and will not cover living expenses such as accommodation (dormitory) or meals.

    In order for program students to continue receiving the scholarship amount initially granted upon admission to the program in subsequent semesters, they are required to maintain a combined cumulative grade point average (ITU/MSU GPA), calculated based on the academic performance at both Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and Montana State University (MSU), of at least 2.50 in the following semesters.

     3.29 – 3.58  

    $13,000 per year (renewable for two years; total value over two years: $26,000).
     3.10 – 3.28  

    $9,000 per year (renewable for two years; total value over two years: $18,000).
     2.70 – 3.09  

    $7,000 per year (renewable for two years; total value over two years: $14,000).

    • IMPORTANT NOTE: Tuition fees for the Double Degree Programs during the semesters at ITU must be paid through VakıfBank branches using the student number or through VakıfBank ATMs using the student number. Please do not make payments to any IBAN number.
